About The Event

Illustrated talk with slides and a short film: Five Rod Farm opened at Kenton Hall in 2022 and in a short time has become a succesful organic market garden with an emphasis on community and an eco-friendly ethos. Everything is grown by hand and without chemicals to provide the healthiest produce, whilst also reducing food miles and single-use plastic. 

Cam's talk will provide an insight into his personal journey as well as the practical side of no-dig food production. 

A lively and informative afternoon.. of interest to anyone wishing to source locally-grown, fresh and seasonal produce as well as those wanting to grow their own food and learn environmentally-friendly organic principles.

Ticket includes a cup of tea, coffee or herby refreshment at 2pm for a sociable welcome. Talk begins at 2.30pm
